Feeling torn between conflicting medical advice is a common challenge when facing health decisions. It can leave us unsure about what’s best for our well-being and healing. My friend, Suzanna Hake, a former teacher turned entrepreneur and wellness educator, experienced this firsthand. Her family faced health challenges post-COVID, from her husband’s Lyme disease diagnosis to her battle with skin cancer. These trials led to a focus on creating wellness sanctuaries at home and trusting her intuition for health decisions.
“You take your health for granted until you don’t have it.”

My conversation with Suzanna revealed valuable lessons on prioritizing health and using intuitive guidance to discover a meaningful path in cancer treatment. Our intuition is so important and is a gift from God. We need to listen to it, go inward more, and recognize that we have significant power and influence over our health and well-being.
I’m excited to share with you what I’ve learned from Suzanna’s story.
Suzanna and I shared personal experiences where our inner feelings guided us toward better health outcomes. For Suzanna, a defining moment came when she met with a surgeon who left her feeling uncomfortable and upset. Trusting her intuition, she sought alternative options and eventually found Hope4Cancer through a friend’s recommendation.
Actionable Tips:
“I just thought, I have to go. I have to go here because something is going on in my body that is producing this cancer, and even though it may not seem like this big, huge, scary thing, it was for me.”

Suzanna decided to go to Mexico for healing after a heartfelt conversation with a friend who had also faced a cancer diagnosis. Despite conflicting medical advice, she sought out alternative options, choosing those that felt right for her and following her intuition for health.
Actionable Tips:
Suzanna’s journey to wellness included a range of natural healing modalities, such as IV therapies, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hyperthermia, coffee enemas, and red light therapy. At first, Suzanna had doubts about coffee enemas. However, after experiencing their benefits, she has come to appreciate their health advantages.
Actionable Tips:
Hydrating adequately aids in detoxification, maintains optimal bodily functions, and supports the immune system. Suzanna discovered that adding hydrogen water to her routine provided additional benefits, increasing her body’s ability to fight oxidative stress and promote overall health.
Actionable Tips:
Suzanna used to think wellness meant being super busy, playing lots of sports, and never getting sick. Now, she sees wellness as reducing stress, spending time with loved ones, getting enough sleep, and minimizing electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure. By reducing environmental toxins and stressors at home, she was able to create an environment that supports recovery and well-being.
Actionable Tips:
It’s important to protect your health by staying hydrated, especially during hectic travel schedules. Suzanna has some practical tips for traveling with medical-grade water.

Actionable Tips:
“There are several people I met in January that I’m still very close to. I’ve gone to visit them, we’ve had little reunions, and we still pray for each other and communicate pretty much daily. We are a great resource for each other.”

Support from friends, family, and a community of like-minded individuals meant a lot to Suzanna. They were there for her and helped her stay focused on her health journey.
Actionable Tips:
Suzanna highly recommends Dr. Tony’s book “Ultra Cancer,” founder of Hope4Cancer, after experiencing his personalized advice and discussions on cancer treatment strategies during her visit. His advice on treating cancer differently and alternatives to mammograms changed how she thinks about staying healthy.
Suzanna’s journey teaches us that trusting your intuition and learning about natural health therapies can be life-changing. From alternative treatments to using hydrogen water and minimizing environmental toxins, she found a path that matched her family’s health goals and beliefs.
Keep in mind that your body knows best. Trust your gut, stay informed, and don’t be afraid to take a look at alternative health practices. Creating a supportive and toxin-free environment at home can make a significant difference in your well-being. Follow your inner voice and think about adding these natural ways to your daily routine.
