If you’ve ever found yourself stuck in a cycle—whether it’s burnout, binge eating, people-pleasing, or chronic stress—you’ve probably asked the question: Why do I keep doing this when I know better? That frustrating loop is often a sign that your subconscious mind is running the show. And while willpower and positive thinking can help on the surface, they rarely get to the root cause of the pattern. That’s where Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) comes in.
RTT blends hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychotherapy into a powerful, neuroscience-backed method that helps you uncover deeply wired beliefs from early life—or even ancestral patterns—and gently rewrite them.
RTT is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of traditional psychotherapy, like Gestalt, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy, with hypnotherapy, energy healing, and mindfulness techniques. The beauty of RTT lies in its ability to get to the root cause of an issue and initiate deep transformation quickly.
It’s a unique, integrative method designed to:
This approach is not about surface-level mindset shifts; it’s about digging into your story, finding the origin of your blocks, and gently reprogramming what’s no longer serving you.
An RTT session typically lasts 2-3 hours and includes the following phases:
RTT is a powerful, solution-focused therapy that can support healing in a wide range of areas. From anxiety and depression to chronic pain, fertility struggles, fears, phobias, and weight issues, RTT helps get to the real root of what’s going on beneath the surface.
Because it works at the subconscious level, RTT goes beyond symptom management. It supports deep emotional wellness and lasting subconscious reprogramming. Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, navigating burnout, or carrying trauma that just won’t budge, RTT offers a path toward true mind-body healing.
High-level athletes, celebrities, and business leaders have used RTT to unlock their potential—and you can use the same tools to come home to yourself.
Let’s say you’re constantly self-sabotaging when things start going well, or you keep choosing relationships that feel familiar but unhealthy. You’re not broken. Your brain is simply trying to keep you safe based on outdated programming.
As kids, we absorb messages like sponges. A passing comment from a stressed-out parent, a moment of fear, or a feeling of being left out on the playground can all plant subconscious beliefs like:
“I’m not good enough.”
“Love is conditional.”
“Success leads to rejection.”
RTT helps you locate the origin story of those beliefs and lovingly rewrite the script.
Unlike approaches that keep you stuck in the story, RTT moves you through the emotional debris and into a place of healing.
During my RTT session with RTT Practitioner Carey (also known as Caroline) Weiss, I experienced something unlike anything I’d ever done before. And trust me, I’ve tried a lot of healing modalities over the years.
What came up for me was fascinating and honestly a little surprising. A lot of it centered around my grandma, my mom’s mom. Now, I had what I consider a really good childhood. My parents were great, we lived next door to my grandparents, and I felt safe and loved.
But here’s what RTT taught me: even in loving families, patterns get passed down. Generational stuff. The way stress moves through family systems. How our mothers’ experiences while carrying us literally become part of our cellular memory.
I realized that some of my patterns around food and self-care weren’t even mine originally. They were inherited responses to stress and survival that had been passed down through generations of women in my family.
Here’s what I want you to take away from this: you’re not broken. Those patterns and behaviors that are frustrating you? They made perfect sense at some point, probably when you were little and trying to figure out how to survive and get your needs met.
The beautiful thing about understanding this is once you know where something comes from, you can start to change it. That’s where the neuroplasticity piece comes in; your brain can rewire itself with the right tools and repetition.
If you’re struggling with patterns that just won’t budge—whether it’s around food, relationships, money, or anything else—maybe it’s time to look deeper than surface-level solutions. Sometimes the answers aren’t in your gym routine or your meal plan. Sometimes, they’re in those early experiences that shape how you see yourself and the world.
And sometimes, healing means having someone walk that journey with you. A compassionate, intuitive guide like Carey Weiss, a certified RTT® practitioner and hypnotherapist, can help you gently time-travel back to those pivotal moments, uncover the hidden beliefs driving your patterns, and start rewriting your story with clarity and care.
