Feeling like stress is taking over your life? Our busy schedules can lead to mental and physical burnout. But did you know that spending time in nature and practicing breathwork can help alleviate stress? Think about the peace and energy you could achieve by simply breathing and connecting with nature. Ah, breathwork! That is how my soul sister and dear friend, Siri Baruc Thornton, releases negativity and experiences joy and vitality.
Siri is a free-spirited soul dedicated to joyful living. With a diverse background as a Breathwork teacher, Reiki master, and Human Design reader, she shares with us insights into breathwork practices. She has been practicing breathwork for over 20 years. She combines it with Reiki to create a unique experience. Her breathwork style, which she calls “mountain breathwork,” is inspired by the idea of strong, lasting love. It’s about feeling loved and raised, like a mountain. She believes everyone is directly connected to their inner wisdom and the universe. Her mission is to guide people to trust themselves and let go.
Breathwork is about getting the breath in, however you can. Siri points out that it’s about breathing and letting go.
She elaborates on her passion for breathwork, explaining how it has been a central part of her life for many years. She shares her exhilarating experiences during breathwork sessions, describing how it can lead to feelings of enlightenment and energy.
She shares her journey of facilitating breathwork sessions, and her technique can help you handle tough times and bring you a sense of joy. Try these breathwork tips:
“When you have your breathwork session, you get to have whatever you want. You can spread out, have your blankets and water, and you can cry if you need to. It’s not about doing it right.”

Siri and I also emphasize the significance of living in a home that embodies peace and tranquility.
My home is a sanctuary filled with natural light and views of the surrounding landscape. This serene environment plays a crucial role in my overall well-being.
In her home, Siri has thoughtfully set up a healing space using harmonious color choices and natural decor.

My non-negotiable morning routine includes practices like cold plunges and grounding exercises. Disconnecting from technology to connect with nature, and prioritizing self-care before engaging with the outside world is a must for me too! Here’s how you can do it:
Bring comfort and harmony to your home with my home wellness checklist. It’s filled with simple, effective ideas to create a space that makes you feel happy and rested. Get your hands on it and start a new chapter of your life now!

Setting boundaries with technology is important for a peaceful home.
Siri and I also touch on the importance of setting boundaries with technology to add to your focus and peace. Identify tech-free spots in your home and set specific times to unplug. I also recommend using a sunrise alarm clock instead of a phone for waking up. It uses nature’s sounds and doesn’t give off electric and magnetic fields (EMFs).
Creating a peaceful home environment and blending in nature and breathwork can impact your well-being. By adding plants, using natural light, and embracing calming colors, you can change your home into a place of relaxation. Combine these changes with breathwork practices, like Siri Baruc Thornton’s ‘mountain breathwork,’ and connect with nature to strengthen your emotional and physical health.
