Is it hard to see progress in your health, even though you’re doing the work?
Maybe it’s a weight you can’t lose, chronic fatigue that won’t go away, or emotional pain that runs deep.
It’s possible that what holds you back comes from other places than your body.
It might be something buried in your mind or learned from your family’s past.
“I was told I wasn’t allowed to do it, so I thought, what’s the story behind that? Why wouldn’t you want me to help patients asking for that information?”
Carey Weiss
Carey Weiss began her career helping people through massage therapy and teaching about health. Then, she became a nurse and cared for people in hospice.
Through her work, Carey noticed how our minds and bodies influence each other. She saw these connections through the health patterns of her patients.
Despite living a clean lifestyle, Carey faced chronic gut issues, miscarriages, and autoimmune reactions. Traditional medicine couldn’t provide answers, so she researched and discovered a different way to heal.
After experiencing a few of her own personal crises, including a divorce, Carey came across Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). It helped her identify and clear away hidden emotions affecting her health. Before long, her stomach was better, and she started to feel good inside and out.
“I experienced Rapid Transformational Therapy for the first time, and it felt like a key had been unlocked. So, I dove in, went to school, and it changed my life.”
Carey Weiss
Carey Weiss explains that RTT is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, neuro-linguistic programming, psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy.
This method helps people find out the main reasons for their problems. It taps into the subconscious mind, which stores our earliest memories, even from the womb. This part of our mental space shapes our beliefs and actions.
RTT helps people get into a relaxed state where their subconscious becomes accessible. In this condition, they can learn about the beliefs and habits that might be getting in their way. These patterns could be damaging to their health and happiness.
One of the things that my family and I have always known is that my grandma was not a very nice person. It’s really interesting how we were just okay with the way Grandma was and how she spoke throughout our whole lives. But I didn’t realize until my session with Carey that it impacted me deeply.
Here are the benefits of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT):
As someone open about my lifelong challenges with weight and my relationship with food, I was intrigued when my friend Carey shared that she had transitioned her career to become a certified Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)/hypnosis practitioner.
I had always been curious about the power of hypnosis, but admittedly held some reservations about relinquishing control. However, after connecting with Carrie and learning more about RTT, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to be supported through the process.
During my RTT session, I was quickly put into a deeply relaxed, hypnotic state where Carey guided me through uncovering pivotal scenes from my childhood.
To my surprise, vivid memories surfaced that I had no recollection of before – interactions with my grandmother where she had verbally abused and shamed me for my physical appearance.
As Carey walked me through these traumatic experiences, I was shocked to realize the profound impact they had on my subconscious beliefs about my worth and lovability.
Even more eye-opening was when Carey had me embody the perspective of my grandmother. Hearing the pain and trauma in my grandmother’s “voice” as she explained the root of her hurtful behaviors was a profoundly humbling experience. It allowed me to have compassion for the generational patterns of abuse that had been passed down, rather than simply seeing my grandmother as the “villain.” This experience of bridging the past and present was incredibly healing.
The most powerful moment, however, was when Carey guided me to speak directly to my younger self – the little girl who had endured such cruelty. Being able to comfort, reassure, and validate that wounded part of me was incredibly cathartic. I felt a tangible shift in my energy as if I had finally set down a heavy suitcase I had been carrying for decades.
In the days and weeks following the session, I was amazed by the profound shifts I experienced. I felt lighter, more at peace, and more in tune with my body’s needs. The obsession I had long felt around food and my weight simply dissolved. I knew I had finally unearthed and released the deep-rooted beliefs that had been subconsciously driving my behaviors. This RTT work has been truly transformative, and I’m excited to continue this journey of healing and self-discovery.
Carey is launching her weight release program in January 2025. It’s a weight release program specifically designed for a healthier, more authentic you. She’s teaming up with Dr. Stacy Bean, a functional medicine specialist.
This program focuses on understanding the real reasons behind weight concerns. Those extra pounds point to something else that needs attention, and together, they’ll help you break free from them.
Our pain might be linked to things we didn’t experience ourselves. Generational trauma can influence our quality of life. The stress our ancestors went through can live on in us. It can determine our emotional responses, relationships, and physical health.
When we heal from our past, we create a fresh start. Our kids don’t have to live with the same scars. That change spreads, touching their lives in powerful ways. They grow healthier and stronger, generation after generation.
Healing is a journey. Sometimes, the roadblocks we run into come from sources we can’t see. Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) offers to understand the unknown roots of our struggles. It helps mend old wounds and lets us take control of our health.
At the end of my conversation with Carey, I asked her what homes that heal mean to her. This is what she said:
“A home that heals is a place where you can truly be yourself, shed your layers, feel safe, and grounded. It’s a space where you can access your vulnerability and do inner work. This environment should be clean, warm, inviting, and have positive energy to support your healing journey. In order to work on healing, nutrition, detox, and energy, you need to feel good in your space. Your home should foster peace, joy, and safety.”
